will help you Okay..I have finally solve it myself
1.The usage "return replyBuilder.build().toByteArray()" is wrong because ProtoEncoder has already do toByteArray() for me:
code :
public class ProtobufEncoder extends MessageToMessageEncoder<MessageLiteOrBuilder> {
    public ProtobufEncoder() {
    }

    protected void encode(ChannelHandlerContext ctx, MessageLiteOrBuilder msg, List<Object> out) throws Exception {
        if (msg instanceof MessageLite) {
            out.add(Unpooled.wrappedBuffer(((MessageLite)msg).toByteArray()));
        } else {
            if (msg instanceof Builder) {
                out.add(Unpooled.wrappedBuffer(((Builder)msg).build().toByteArray()));
            }

        }
    }
}

Any of those help Your Java client looks fine. You just need to ensure you are sending a newline to match the BufferedReader.readLine statement. Replace:
code :
Dim s_byt() As Byte = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes("got it")
Dim s_byt() As Byte = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes("got it" + vbCr)

wish help you to fix your issue PrintWriter buffer (when autoflush is true) is only flushed by calling println or printf. Calling print may not flush the buffer (Javadoc). Try calling println or use a OutputStreamWriter directly and flush(). Be aware of using the right charset (You can set it up in OutputStreamWriter constructor).

I wish this helpful for you I generate an ByteBuffer object: , Just use:
code :
channel.writeAndFlush(Unpooled.wrappedBuffer(yourByteBuffer));
I write an application with netty, send message from client to server, but server cannot receive the message

it should still fix some issue Thats because you use a String when calling writeAndFlush(...). The returned ChannelFuture should tell you the message type is not supported. If you want to use a String you will need to put the StringEncoder on your ChannelPipeline, otherwise you will need to write ByteBuf instances only.

help you fix your problem At the top of the file add #include.
In MainWindow class header file, add QByteArray qba; as a private member variable.
code :
void MainWindow::readMessageFromTCPServer()
{
  QObject::connect(this, SIGNAL( MySignal() ),this, SLOT( MySlot() ) );

  std::string r="start";

  qba.append(tcpClient->readAll());
  qDebug() << "BUFFER:" << QString::fromUtf8(qba);

  if (qba.contains(r.c_str()))
  {
    emit MySignal();
  }
  return;

}
if (qba.contains(r.c_str()))
  {
    MySlot();
  }
