Values from a XML file

Values from a XML file

will be helpful for those in need I'm trying to get the values inside a XML, but with this code I only get the label name value, I want the value itself from the label name. , Here you go:
code :
from xml.dom.minidom import parse

doc = parse("../data/DataXML.xml")
my_node_list = doc.getElementsByTagName("label_param")
for node in my_node_list:
    name_node = node.getElementsByTagName("name")
    value_node = node.getElementsByTagName("value")
    print("Name: "+name_node[0].firstChild.data)
    if(value_node[0].firstChild != None):
        print("Value: "+value_node[0].firstChild.data)
    else:
        print("Value: Empty")

Any of those help This program seems to do what you need.
The output is written in tab-separated format - the same as your input data - so the continuation lines have the correct number of tabs but aren't physicallly aligned with the initial line. If you want something different then please say so.
code :
while (<$fh>) {
  chomp;
  my @fields = split /\t/;

  my $min = $fields[1];
  my $max = $fields[3] + 2000;

  my @values;
  for my $val (@file2) {
    last if $val > $max;
    push @values, $val if $val >= $min;
  }
  push @values, 'NA' unless @values;

  for my $val (@values) {
    print join("\t", @fields, $val), "\n";
    $_ = '' for @fields;
  }

I wish did fix the issue. Assuming that the labels in file1 are unique, I would first read that file into a dictionary:
code :
with open('file1') as fd:
    data1 = dict(line.strip().split()
                 for line in fd if line.strip())
{
  '375677': '4444.5',
  '375678': '6890.4',
  '375679': '786.0',
}
with open('file2') as fd:
    for line in fd:
        data = line.strip().split()
        print data1[data[0]], data1[data[1]]
with open('file2') as fd:
    for line in fd:
        data = line.strip().split()
        print ' '.join(data), data1[data[0]], data1[data[1]]

it should still fix some issue I can't get this to work perfectly - don't have an XML editor right now, nor do online editors like document() calls, but this is the kind of thing you are looking for.
The first template is the identity transform, which is always a hand base case for when you want to "keep most of the input file, but just change some small parts".
code :
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
  <xsl:template match="@*|node()">
    <xsl:copy>
      <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/>
    </xsl:copy>
  </xsl:template>

  <xsl:template match="frag">
    <xsl:variable name='id' select="@id"/>
    <xsl:value-of select="document('frag.xml')//frag[@id=$id]"/>
  </xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>

wish help you to fix your issue I have 2 CSV file, which are contain more than 500 lines , You can use awk:
code :
awk 'BEGIN{FS=OFS=", "}
     NR==1{print "ID, names, url, color, size, thumbnails"; next}
     FNR==NR{$2=tolower($2); a[$2] = (a[$2]?a[$2] ", " $3:$3); next}
     FNR>1{print $0, a[tolower($1)]}' file2 file1
ID, names, url, color, size, thumbnails
p01, abc, uploads/abc.jpg, red, M, uploads/item/asa.jpg, uploads/item/aza.jpg, uploads/item/dna.jpg, uploads/item/adn.jpg
P02, abz, uploads/abz.jpg, yellow, S, uploads/item/bka.jpg, uploads/item/bda.jpg
p03, xyz, uploads/xyz.jpg, green, L,
p04, qwe, uploads/qwe.jpg, blue, XL, uploads/item/cde.jpg
Using matching entries only, print file A line if column values is between two other columns values in file B

will be helpful for those in need To store multiple ranges, you really want to use arrays of arrays or lists. awk doesn't support them directly but they can be emulated. In this case arrays of arrays seem likely to be more efficient.
code :
awk '
    # store each range from file2
    FNR==NR {
        n = ++q[$1]
        min[$1 FS n] = $2
        max[$1 FS n] = $3
        next
    }

    # process file1
    n = q[$1] { # if no q entry, line cannot be in range
        for (i=1; i<=n; i++)
            if ( min[$1 FS i]<=$2 && $2<=max[$1 FS i]) {
                print
                next
            }
    }
' file2 file1
