hope this fix your issue I am trying to use the following code snippet to iterate through a list of json files. I have excluded the iteration logic but essentially I will have to pass in a variable to openrowset function. , Figured this out:
code :
DECLARE @i INT = 1
DECLARE @json AS NVARCHAR(MAX),
@file AS NVARCHAR(MAX),
@command AS NVARCHAR(MAX)

IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#t')IS NOT NULL
      DROP TABLE #t;
create table #t (jsonstr NVARCHAR(MAX))

WHILE(@i < 10)
BEGIN
  SET @file = N'C:\file\path';
  print @file
  SELECT @command= 'SELECT BulkColumn FROM OPENROWSET (BULK '''+ @file +''' , SINGLE_CLOB) AS j'

    insert #t
    EXEC (@command)
    set @json = (select * from #t)
    SELECT * FROM OPENJSON(@json) AS json
    truncate TABLE #t;
    SET @i = @i + 1 ;
END

SAS macro do loop-- import multiple flat files

SAS macro do loop-- import multiple flat files

wish of those help Welcome to SAS programming! The error message you got is a clue. "Open code" refers to statements that are executed directly by the SAS system. A %do statment is part of the SAS Macro Language, not "normal" SAS. A %let statement can be executed in open code and is use to create a macro variable (distinct from a compiled macro).
Compiled SAS macros are created by code that appears between the %macro and %mend statements. For example, using your code:
code :
%macro run_me;
%let n=1;

%do %while (&n <= 17);
%let pathin = &path&n;

  data retention&n;
    infile &pathin;
    <data step-->
  run;

%let n=%eval(&n+1);
%end;
%mend;

this will help Hi all I was wondering if anyone might have any insight on this. Bear with with as im pretty new sql server and learning as I go. , Lets say following is the structure of your xml file:
code :
<Books>
  <Book>
    <Title>Abzc</Title>
    <Pages>207</Pages>
  </Book>
  <Book>
    <Title>xyz</Title>
    <Pages>312</Pages>
  </Book>
  <Book>
   <Title>ghj</Title>
   <Pages>123</Pages>
  </Book>
</Books>
declare @count int, @filename varchar(20)
set @count=1
while @count<4
begin

   select @filename=filename from test4 where id=@count
   EXEC('INSERT INTO Books (Title, Book_Pages)
    select c3.value(''Title[1]'',''VARCHAR(100)''),
    c3.value(''Pages[1]'',''int'')  from(
    select  cast(c1 as xml)
    FROM OPENROWSET(
     BULK '''+@filename+''',SINGLE_BLOB) as T1(c1)
    )as T2(c2)
cross apply c2.nodes(''/Books/Book'') T3(c3)');
    set @count=@count+1
end

This might help you You will need to write a script in your favourite language that reads each file, JSON-decodes it and then inserts them one by one into MongoDB. In PHP, such a script would be akin to:
code :
<?php
$f = glob("*.json");
$m = new MongoClient;
$c = $m->myDb->myCollection;

foreach ( $f as $fileName )
{
    $contents = json_decode( file_get_contents( $fileName ) );
    $c->insert( $contents );
}
?>

it fixes the issue This is not directly possible with Cypher. Use some preprocessing tool either aggregate your csv files into one or call LOAD CSV for each of the files.
For preprocessing csvkit is a good choice.
