I think the issue was by ths following , There are many validation utils. You can check this example:

should help you out No you cannot. The integration of JSF with Bean Validation uses Validator.validateValue to validate each input field on its own. It is not using Validator.validate in order to validate the whole bean.
If you really want the full bean evaluated you need to do it on another layer (eg JPA if you are using it).

hope this fix your issue Nowadays you have two options for your backend - CDI and EJB. I guess you don't need things like transactions and RMI, so CDI will do the job for you (it's pretty similar to JSF but it's adding more features to it, JSFs Managed Beans will hopefully become obsolete soon).
Your UserBean visible to the JSF page
code :
@Named
@RequestScoped //this depends on your use case
public UserBean {

    @Inject
    private UserDao dao;

    public void addUser(User user) {
        dao.addUser(user);
    }
}
@RequestScoped
public UserDao {

    @PersistencyContext
    private EntityManager em;

    public void addUser(User user) {
        em.save(user);
    }
}

this one helps. Validating depends on your program logic. Apply appropriate logic to each field of user input. Invalid data could break functionality.
Two kinds of sanitizing: parameterize or escape variables used in db queries; also sanitize before printing to html using htmlspecialchars() or htmlentities(). Sometimes there's easier ways:

Hope that helps You can define your own custom validation with Bean Validation (JSR-303), for example here is simple custom zip code validation, by annotating with your custom annotation you can easily validate:

I wish did fix the issue. Using constructor arguments helps to ensure your beans are not initialized without the necessary fields being set.
The use case of a web application is different: You really shouldn't have DTOs configured anyway (it's going to require a bunch of legwork on your part, as you're discovering). The main benefit Spring in a webapp would be to host service objects, DAOs and factories. For user-editable DTOs however, I see little benefit in configuring them in a file
