Can I always be sure of the hierarchical order of controls found via FindWindowEx?

hop of those help? Each child HWND has a property called ID. Use GetWindowLongPtr( hWnd, GWLP_ID ) to get it. Depending on how the target application is coded, that ID may be a way to distinguish between child control. Knowing the ID you can get the child HWND with the GetDlgItem API (works fine when the parent is not a DialogBox, the API should have been called GetChildByID).
Beware: some target applications really use random/unreliable values for IDs.

Building hierarchical order rows from hierarchical table structure

seems to work fine I am looking for a tricky way to build hierarchical order rows from the following data: , If the order is important then try this:
code :
select [Level],Val from
(
SELECT '0' as [Level], [Col001] as Ord, [Col001] as Val FROM @DataSource
union
SELECT '1' as [Level], [Col001]+[Col002] as Ord, [Col002] as Val FROM @DataSource
union
SELECT '2' as [Level], [Col001]+[Col002]+[Col003] as Ord, [Col003] as Val FROM @DataSource
union
SELECT '3' as [Level], [Col001]+[Col002]+[Col003]+[Col004] as Ord, [Col004] as Val FROM @DataSource
) as T1
ORDER BY Ord,[Level]
Events in hierarchical tree of User Controls

will help you Each tree node have own events that has handled by tree control. for example when your mouse goes on any node then MouseHover event will be executed in that tree node not directly in Tree control. So, you have to create an event in treenode then you can handle tree control event from here. for example
code :
private TreeNode_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    If (MyControl.ItemClicked != null)
        MyControl.ItemClicked(this, e);
}
private MyControl_ItemClicked(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    if (sender != null)
        this.Nodes.Remove((TreeNode)sender);

}

I hope this helps . I explain difference between the names of the properties and their types in the following:
code :
<ComboBox>
    <ComboBox.ItemTemplate>
          <!-- Add a DataTemplate here. It determines how the content
               of your data item appears. Use it to bind data
               fields or format string and etc -->
    </ComboBox.ItemTemplate>
    <ComboBox.ItemContainerStyle>
          <!-- Add a Style here. It determines the appearance of the
               element (e.g., ComboBoxItem) that contains the data. Set
               Selection behaviour, Background color, etc-->
    </ComboBox.ItemContainerStyle>
    <ComboBox.Template>
          <!-- Add a ControlTemplate here. It contains the tree of
               elements that define the desired look. Of course, most of
               the time, you do not set this property and use the default
               value. Use it for example to change the shape of the ToggleButton.-->
    </ComboBox.Template>
    <ComboBox.ItemsPanel>
          <!-- Add an ItemsPanelTemplate here. Use it to determine the
               the panel that the ItemsPresenter creates for the Items.
               You can change the orientation of the ComboBoxItems here .-->
    </ComboBox.ItemsPanel>
</ComboBox>

it helps some times edit: Second prototype delivered.
The answer really depends on what you're creating "dynamically", which I'm not clear on. Since I'm not allowed to request clarification until I provide useful answers for rep, here's a jscript that does something useful sorta like what you're saying.
