will help you Using super() with arguments is backwards compatible, so you should just be able to use super(MyClass, self) without needing to check the version.

I hope this helps . Reference to this answer: https://stackoverflow.com/a/3456599
I ended up adding a method in the SubClass that calls the setUp of SuperClass
code :
    //SubClass extends SuperClass
    protected void getSuperSuper((ITestContext context) {
        super.setUp(context);
    }

    //ChildClass extends SubClass
    protected void setUp(ITestContext context) {
        super.getSuperSuper(context);
        ...
    }

may help you . Since initWithFrame: is the designated initializer, apple's implementation of init (which you call when you call [super init]) internally calls the initWithFrame: function and passes in CGRectZero. That is the reason both get called. So the end flow ends up looking like this:
code :
[YourClass init] -> [super init] -> [self initWithFrame:CGRectZero] ->
[YourClass initWithFrame:CGRectZero] -> [super initWithFrame:CGRectZero]

help you fix your problem This is correct, that if you implement loadView you should not call super. As the documentation says:
back compatible call to super() for python2/3

it should still fix some issue In Python 2, a class must inherit from object in order to be a new-style-class:
code :
class myClass(object):
    def __init__(self):
class myBaseClass(object):
    ...

class myClass(myBaseClass):
    def __init__(self):
        super(myClass, self).__init__()

wish of those help The purpose of a varargs method is to allow the programmer to write each argument individually, so it's possible to prepend a required argument of the same type to make sure at least one is passed in. For callers that have a list or array, an alternate constructor can accept Iterable.
